THE STORY OF SUICIDE KIDS

Malcolm Holt (Gene Gallerano) was a normal guy trying to make it big as a photographer- until his father (Josh Tane) died. In that aftermath, Malcolm reached out to his friends, confident nothing could come between him and his second family. But after his best friend, Lincoln (Ian Bell), commits suicide, Malcolm is left with guilt, despair, and that persistent wonder: why? Complicating his struggle to find some sense from suicide’s senselessness, Malcolm begins having disturbing dreams about his dead father, departed friends, and ex-girlfriend Mara (Freya Moran), who he has been seeing since Lincoln’s funeral.

Desperate for answers, Malcolm seeks help from the town mystic, a mysterious pool shark called the Holy Hustler (Tom Slot). With the Hustler’s help, Malcolm begins confronting his demons and trying to forge a new path forward. Yet he remains mired by his feelings for Mara, while she herself is confused by the rekindling flame between them.

But with his dreams spilling ever more into his waking life, Malcolm, unable to escape the shadows of suicide, is consumed by his father’s voice from beyond the grave. His reality falling apart around him, Malcolm must confront his past or risk losing his future.
